Save a Classic
Take a look at classic yachts of high pedigree that are currently in need of restoration and a renewed life.

square Apache is a Cox & Stevens designed Seawanhaka Schooner; one of 16 built side-by-side in 1925 at Bath Iron Works in Maine, for members of the Seawanhaka Corinthian and New York Yacht Clubs. Fast in light air she was designed for performance on Long Island Sound. Steadfast and seaworthy in a blow, Apache has cruised the Northeast, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific. She is 58' on deck, 12' in beam, draws 8' and carries 7.5 long tons of outside lead. She is 20 net tons with 1,700 sq ft of working sail. Much documentation on her and her sisterships sits permanently in the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine. Apache was featured in an article in Wooden Boat Magazine #139, Dec. 1997. For more information contact Jeff Rutherford.

Apache
square Escapade, the famous sailing yacht, was featured in a 2008 edition of Wooden Boat Magazine. This 73' yawl was one of the three great yachts of her time, along with "Bolero” and "Baruna". If you or someone you know, dreams of owning a classic yacht, this is a wonderful opportunity. With her centerboard and 8' draft, she is ideal for cruising. Her pedigree is second to none. Sail into nautical history and enjoy a spectacular yacht by restoring a slice of Americana. For more information, contact Paul Kaplan at (510) 307-7900, email Paul here or visit Syescapade.com
